Jockey Londregan explained at that stage of the race the tempo slowed and when he was travelling behind LITTLE BOMBER, which was second-up from a spell over 2240m today, he decided to shift wider on the track and improve forward. He further added as BIGMORDRIVE is one-paced he had specific instructions to make a run from the 1000m, so he did feel his decision to move 3 wide was detrimental to the horse’s chances. Stewards noted his explanation.
