Pulled hard early and middle stages. Shifted out passing 1000m forcing another runner wider. Rider questioned re disappointing performance - stated gelding had a tendency to overrace early stages but travelled well approaching home turn but when placed under pressure failed to respond to her riding. Vetted - no abnormalities.
