Bumped shortly after start and had to be steadied. Held up rounding home turn. Near 200m had to be steadied when disappointed for a run and then had to alter course to obtain clear running approaching the 100m.

Rider questioned reasons why he elected to shift outwards after leaving 800m to race in 3 wide position - stated mare pulled hard early stages and when attempting to restrain would not come back to him and relax and as a result he allowed it to shift outwards approaching the 600m and away from LA DOLCE VITA. Added that in his opinion HIGH SPECS then settled.
