Pulled hard in the middle stages. Held up near the 500m. A. Sewell was questioned regarding the tactics he adopted on MAGNATUNE approaching the home turn. Apprentice Sewell stated that he improved between runners making the turn and elected to shift back to the inside where there was clear opportunity to do so to improve to the inside of CAILLEBOTTE. He added that his mount was left flat-footed when the leaders sprinted and he was unable to make ground quickly and was held up over the concluding stages when CAILLEBOTTE shifted back in.
