Apprentice M. Murphy reported that the hores pulled up making an abnormal respiratory noise. A post race veterinary examination revaled the horse to be suffering from heat stress and making an abnormal upper respiratory track noise. Trainer L. Ross advised that he had the horse scoped upon return to his stables, the results of which confirmed that DAPPER ONE was suffering from a respiratory complaint. He further added that it was his intention to spell the gelding.
