The stable reported that the horse sustained a laceration to the off fore fetlock earlier in the week and after receiving treatment it was cleared to race by the stable veterinary surgeon. Upon arrival on course the horse underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. B. Melham reported that in his opinion his mount failed to handle the track conditions today when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
