Near the 500m had to be checked from the heels of MISS WISLON when MOSS TRIP shifted out to his inside. At a subsequent inquiry it was established that the racing manners of MOSS TRIP contributed to the interference in that at various stages during the race it proved difficult to ride and prior to the incident it became very awkward at the heels of FRENCH EMOTION. In all the circumstances stewards could not be satisfied that B. Avdulla, rider of MOSS TRIP, had ridden in a careless manner and no direct action was taken. Had to be checked near the 300m when disappointed for a run between MISS
