When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, jockey J. Lloyd advised stewards that after being positioned outside the lead the horse commenced to lay in from the 500m and weaken. He added that in his opinion the horse would be better suited to rain-affected track conditions as he felt it may have been uncomfortable on today’s firm racing surface.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer N. Doyle was advised that the filly must compete satisfactorily in an official barrier trial prior to racing again.
