Overraced early stages. Rider questioned re riding in particular when settling towards rear of field the reason for not moving three wide before being covered by IN HIS STRIDE near 700m, which improved from rear of the field - stated instructed to settle in a midfield position with cover and when trailing EL CAMPEADOR that horse did not take him into the race and resulted in him being last on the turn. Trainer advised disappointed with ride. Stewards were not of the view that his decision was so unreasonable as to be culpable under the Rules and therefore took no further action.
