Commenced to overrace after passing the 1200m and had to be restrained from the heels of MISS ALLE BE. Again improved on to heels approaching the 1000m and had to be restrained. Laid out passing the 500m and became awkwardly placed at the heels of WHOSTOPPEDTHERAIN. It was reported post-race that the gelding had sustained an abrasion to the offside hock.

Commenced to overrace after passing the 1000m and had to be steadied away from the heels of NALSSENDORI. Approaching the 900m, when overracing, was unable to avoid the heels of NALSSENDORI, clipped that runner’s heels and fell. In this incident SHONO MERCY sustained a fractured off fore humerus and had to be euthanased on humane grounds.
