When asked to explain the performance App B. Nothdurft stated that the gelding travelled reasonably well throughout the event and he followed the eventual winner. However, rounding the home turn when asked to quicken the gelding failed to respond to his riding. App Nothdurft added that in his opinion the gelding would be better suited in races further than that of today’s distance.
