After passing the 1100m when being restrained by its rider to allow EXPLOSIVE QUALITY to cross forward it threw its head in the air and resented being restrained. Approaching the 600m improved onto heels and had to be restrained. Rounding the home turn was unable to secure clear running to the outside of BUCKETS OF PRIDE and to the inside of APPLECROSS, then raced greenly and shifted in away from APPLECROSS.
