Trainer K. Schweida advised the intention would be to have the filly settle in a worse than midfield position if circumstances permit. The filly was ridden accordingly.Approaching the 800m when being restrained to obtain a position one wide at the rear of the field became awkwardly placed at the heels of HOPEFUL STAR and shifted out. Raced three wide without cover from the 700m onwards.
