Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers and was cleared to race. Commenced to hang out entering the back straight near the 1200m and raced wide for some distance until near the 800m. Tightened rounding the home turn when LOTA CREEK GOLD shifted in and away from ILWENDO. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lacerations in both cheeks.
