Slow to begin. Near 1000 metres improved to inside of the heels of ANSELMO where there was doubtful room and had to be restrained. Near 700 metres when over-racing had to be restrained off the heels of HE KNOWS. Raced greenly under pressure in the home straight.

KEEN AS A BEAN which was following was also checked in consequence.
