As R Maloney was to be overweight he was replaced as the rider on that gelding by G Cartwright. R Maloney was fined $200 under AR190(3). Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Near the 200 metres disappointed for a run to the inside of BRUT GOLD.
