Held up round h/turn until approaching w/post. When asked about tactics, Rdr stated satisfied where settled in running-added round h/turn, when expecting runners to weaken, a run would avail itself to outside-further said when runners didn't weaken as expected, obliged to look for a run to inside & when attempting to improve to inside near the 200m, mount was reluctant to take a narrow run, raced greenly, lay out, then placed at disadvantage. Tnr concurred with Rdr comments. Post race vet exam no abs.

Bumped shortly after the start. Laid in marginally approaching the 100m. Obliged to steady near the finishing line. Rdr advised mount travelled comfortably throughout but failed to respond to riding in the straight and proved disappointing. A post-race vet exam revealed a slow recovery.
