Began awkwardly. Held up in the early part of the home straight and near the 300m was disappointed for run to the inside of LESHRAC and then had to alter course wider to improve and near the 100m attempted a narrow run between MAGIC BEANS and KIM ALICIA and soon afterwards made contact with the hind quarters of KIM ALICIA. Further hampered over the final stages by MAGIC BEANS, which shifted out under pressure. A. Allen, the rider of MAGIC BEANS, was cautioned and advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in the future.
