Began awkwardly. Raced in restricted room for a short distance passing the 200 metres. Rider R Maloney reported the horse travelled comfortably during the race, however when placed under pressure in the early stages of the home straight failed to respond to his riding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild soreness in the off foreleg.
