Stewards questioned rider J Orman regarding the horse leading today, which contrasts with its most recent racing pattern. He explained that the gelding had trialled well recently in blinkers and settling in a forward position, he added that with the addition of blinkers today, and after beginning well from the wide barrier he allowed the gelding to stride forward to the lead. Trainer K Schweida advised that Mr Orman had no specific instructions and anticipated that he would settle in a handy position with the blinkers.
