A pre-race vet exam revealed a healing abrasion to the inside of the near hind leg. Slow to begin. Weakened from the 400m and eased down in the straight. A post-race vet exam revealed gelding to be lame in the off fore. Tnr advised gelding would require vet clearance prior to racing again
