Rider stated re performance in his opinion gelding does not perform best when forced to race to inside of other runners. Stated passing 600m gelding commenced to improve into race. Leaving 500m steadied from heels and then immediately under pressure. Added then reluctant to improve when positioned behind other runners early home straight before securing clear running leaving 200m after which it commenced to finish the race off well.
