When questioned as to the performance, Jockey L Rolls was of the opinion that whilst the filly may have failed to handle today’s soft conditions, it also raced flat. Trainer M Eggleston advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery rate. A swab sample was taken.

Hampered on jumping away. Passing the 600m hung out badly after which it was eased out of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off hind leg. Connections were advised that the mare must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to its next race start. Connections indicated that the horse may now be retired.
