Questioned re riding - rider stated instructed to position where comfortable and had shown tendency to hang in in track work and trials leading into first start. Rode filly out of barrier to obtain prominent position but leaving 1100m commenced to hang in and took hold as concerned for riders' safety drawn inside resulting in it settling further back than intended. Continued to hang in throughout placing rider at a disadvantage in home straight. Vetted - no abs. Must trial prior to next start.
