Prior to correct weight being declared, App. Murphy wished to view start as he was of opinion that he did not have adequate hold of reins when start effected. On review confirmed DREAM SPEED was fractious for short time just before start effected, resulting in App. Murphy having to re-gather his reins, however, Stewards were satisfied that App. Murphy had sufficient control and adequate hold of reins when start effected. DREAM SPEED then began awkwardly, threw its head up and lost considerable ground. Stewards were of view it was afforded a fair start and correct weight declared.
