Passing the 1500m made the first turn awkwardly and laid out and was then tightened when cramped for room by SHUDA KNOWN BETTER which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. From that point on, commenced to over-race when in a trailing position as the pace slackened.

Slow to begin. Commenced to over-race during the early stages rounding the first turn. Passing the 1400m the saddle shifted forward placing its rider at a disadvantage. The gelding was then eased out of the event.
