Bumped 2 occasions soon after start. Forced wider passing 1000m then raced wide without cover for remainder. Forced wider passing 500m. Rider questioned re performance - stated after unable to obtain cover obliged to race wide throughout and after being inconvenienced by another runner approaching 1000m continued to race wide remainder, which he believed had affect on performance. Vetted - no abnormalities and routine swab sample taken.
