Bumped on jumping away. When questioned regarding the improved performance of the filly, Trainer K Doughty explained that they had expected the filly to perform credibly at its first start however, the filly was disappointing. The filly has since had a spell and has worked well and trialled well leading in to today’s event and she expected a better performance today to coincide with what the filly displays in track work. Stewards noted the explanation.

Heavily bumped on jumping away. Passing the 1000m had a tendency to lay in and away from PONYTALES and became awkward at the heels of LOLAS DIAMOND and momentarily had to be steadied. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have sustained a laceration to the off hind leg.
