Rider questioned re overall performance - noted gelding sweated noticeably behind barriers and was then fractious in barriers. Stated after beginning awkwardly attempted to press forward in effort to obtain position on speed however, was caught 3 wide without cover throughout. Added despite racing wide without cover at no stage travelled comfortably and was disappointing in overall performance. Noted whilst gelding had won previous 2 starts the opposition was somewhat inferior to today's race.
