Fractious in barriers. Rider stated intention to obtain position closer to the speed but after being slow to begin and caught three wide obliged to restrain to obtain a position with cover. Added under pressure passing 800m and at no stage travelled comfortably and proved disappointing. Trainer noted having first start in blinkers today but expressed disappointment and undertook to report any abnormalities that may explain the disappointing performance. Vetted - no abnormalities.
