Began awkwardly. When questioned as to the seemingly improved performance, Trainer I Livingstone stated that the mare failed to perform as expected during a campaign earlier this year in Melbourne. Mr Livingstone added that since returning to his stables the mare had impressed him in its work and subsequent trials leading into today’s event and as such he was hopeful of a forward showing.
