Approaching the 200m shifted in to obtain clear running and had to be steadied from the heels of CLICKETY CLICKS.

Near the 850m the gelding made contact with the running rail and then put in a very awkward stride resulting in App. J Grob being dislodged. App. Grob was attended to by QAS and cleared of any serious injuries however, was taken to Pindara Hospital for further observations. A post-race veterinary examination of NO HAT NO PLAY revealed superficial lacerations to the near fore leg.
