Upon return to scale Jockey A Allen reported that the gelding hung in during the early stages of the home straight and near the 300m when PRIDE OF DESTINY shifted out, he was unable to remain to the outside of that runner due to the racing manners of DUBAWI SNIPER. As a consequence he was obliged to shift back in to secure clear running over the final 200m. Near the 100m had to be eased away from the heels of HOLLYDEEN.
