Commenced to overrace approaching the 1200m and shifted wider and as a result raced three wide without cover for the majority. Shifted out near the 250m bumping heavily with GREAT KEPPELL, resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced.

When the pace slackened leaving the 1200m commenced to overrace and raced three wide from that point onwards. Shifted in near the 250m making contact with THE KINGDOM and became unbalanced. Rider had his whip accidentally knocked from his grasp by the whip of another rider near the 80m.

Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Rider comment re performance - stated his mount raced keenly in the early stages however came off the bit leaving the 600m and failed to finish the race off. Trainer stated he was disappointed with the performance today and advised he would now give consideration to the gelding continuing its racing future within his stable.
