When asked to comment regarding the gelding’s performance and tactics, rider M McGillivray reported that after beginning slowly and being obliged to move down to the rail, the gelding commenced to race keenly and approaching the 600m was unable to improve as STELLA ARDENS was beginning to weaken in advance, whilst TITRATION was racing to his outside, this prevented from him improving until approaching the home turn before finishing off fairly.
