Williams reported to stewards that it was her intention to take up a forward position, however the gelding overraced in the early and middle stages, which resulted her mount leading by a considerable distance. Trainer J. Williams indicated it would be her intention now to remove the blinkers in an effort to assist the gelding to settle during its races, and also that she would consider a drop back in distance.
