After being fractious in the barriers, reared as the start was effected and lost ground. When afforded the opportunity to comment on the horse's performance, T. Harrison stated that despite losing ground at the start, the mare was still somewhat disappointing with its finishing effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slower than normal recovery. Trainer reported the next day that mare had suffered a muscle tear in its upper chest / neck.
