Became fractious in the barriers and reared as the start was effected, losing significant ground. Allowed to stride forward approaching the 800m turn to take up a position in the lead. When questioned regarding the performance of the filly, jockey T. Harrison stated that after being fractious in the barriers and slowly away, her first priority was to obtain cover behind other runners, however after travelling a short distance the filly commenced to overrace and therefore she elected to allow her mount to stride forward 3 wide to eventually obtain the position outside the leader.
