Slow to begin. When questioned regarding the riding of the gelding passing the 300m, in particular the reason she elected to shift wider on the track to improve when there appeared to be an opportunity to improve between HEZA CHUMLEY and BALKAN BAMBINO. Jockey Darbyshire explained she was of the view that BALKAN BAMBINO was inclined to shift back in and therefore elected not to persist with that run and shifted wider to obtain clear running.
