Apprentice M. McGillivray explained that he had no specific instructions today, and from the outside draw he made the decision after beginning well to stride forward in anticipation that BIANTIC would get a position on the rail. He said when he did stride forward in the early stages, BIANTIC remained racing one off the fence throughout and as he was unable to cross in front of CHLOE’S COMET, his mount was left three wide without cover throughout.
