Steadied from heels and shifted wider approaching the 1300m. Momentarily tightened when tiring rounding the home turn. Tired over the concluding stages. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed that the mare had a slow post-race recovery. Jockey J. Lloyd was of the view that the horse may have got its tongue over the bit. Trainer B. Guy advised that he would consider putting a tongue tie on the mare for its next start.
