Raced tailed off throughout and finished a distant last. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer J. Fitzgerald was advised that the nomination of the gelding would be refused at metropolitan meetings until its form improves and prior to racing again the horse must trial to the satisfaction of stewards.
