Obliged to steady when awkwardly placed to the inside of JET TRAIN near the 450m. Held up approaching the home turn and shortly thereafter was again steadied from the heels of RED CALVARY and eased wider. Rider dropped his whip and also momentarily dropped the left-hand rein near the 150m, resulting in him being unable to fully test the mare over the concluding stages.
