When questioned by Stewards regarding the disappointing performance, Apprentice S. Thornton advised that her mount raced ungenerously and hung out from the 600m, and also failed to respond to her riding over the final 500m. Trainer S. O’Dea advised that he will discuss the horse’s immediate racing future with connections. Mr. O’Dea was advised that the horse must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming racing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
