Slow to begin. Bumped heavily by DAISY’S APART at the start, and then by SPECIAL THING and, as a result, lost considerable ground. Held up rounding the home turn. When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, jockey M. Cahill advised that it was his intention to obtain a midfield position, however after suffering interference at the start his mount settled further back in the field than anticipated. He added that, in his opinion, the filly ran on well over the concluding stages and would benefit from the run.
