Nearing the 150m was tightened for racing room and had to be checked when racing to the inside of FASTNET JACK which had improve into a narrow run to the inside of AMORE PRIMUS which shifted in. M. Du Plessis the rider of AMORE PRIMUS was reprimanded pursuant AR 131(a) for this incident. In assessing penalty stewards were mindful that Jockey Du Plessis had made some effort to correct his mount. Rider M. Castle reported the mare got its tongue over the bit.
