At the entrance to the home straight, steadied away from heels. When asked about performance, Rdr reported gelding travelled comfortably throughout, however when placed under pressure approaching the home turn, received some buffeting & then failed to respond to riding and proved disappointing. A post race vet exam revealed lameness in the off foreleg. Vet clearance required prior to racing again. Tnr stated it was intention gelding leaves stable.

Slow to begin. Raced wide early. Rdr reported gelding commenced to weaken and desisted from pressuring mount from the 350m when felt it become awkward in its action. A post race vet exam revealed gelding to be stepping short in the near hind. Vet Cert rqd prior to racing again.
