Raced 3 wide throughout. On returning to scale Jockey M Abe reported that the mare felt uncomfortable on pulling up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare was lame in the off fore tendon. Trainer Mr B. Hetherington advised stewards that he may retire the mare from racing, nevertheless, stewards told him that should he return the horse to racing he must first provide a veterinary clearance of soundness.
