After leading for the majority of the event, weakened in the home straight. Rider L. Tilley was of the view that the step in journey may have been a contributing factor in its performance today. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the near foreleg. Stable representative S.Johnston was advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to the horse racing again.
