Rider explained that gelding was disappointing and when placed under pressure in early stages whilst racing 3 wide, in an endeavour to take up a more forward position, he was not able to do so. In his opinion the gelding is one-paced and is likely to be stepped up in distance at its next start.

Rider explained that his mount settled towards rear of field failed to handle fast tempo and heavy impost of 61.5 kg. failed to finish race off well. Trainer reported horse had pulled up fine and attributed the dissapointing performance to the weight and distance of the race.
